Lightletter is a global online literary journal dedicated to showcasing luminous, authentic work and supporting emerging voices. We release new issues quarterly—one per season. We’re interested in all kinds of work from writers of all kinds of backgrounds; in other words, if you want to share your work, we want to read it!

We believe that cost should never be a gateway to publishing, which is why submitting to us is 100% free, always. Additionally, every single person who submits a work of prose to us will receive a personalized, detailed edit letter free of charge (yes, you read that right!).

We are powered by a growing team of volunteers without whom this journal would not be possible.

For regular inquiries, contact us at lightlettersubmissions@gmail.com.

Please do not query until two weeks have passed since making your submission. After the two-week mark, you may query us regarding the status of your submission.
